ATTIRE----III
Hello guys,
Back with a bang or a thud must be decided by you people who might have experienced the same as mine. Second year passed seeking pleasure by being watched. Now the time has come to watch the steps. We CETians have entered our respective branches and now reporting to a specific lot of faculty members comprising of the respective Departments. Now the lines have been drawn and curtains down meaning what happens within a Department is only Department's business and nobody else is your Godfather than your department.
कुछ तो सोचेंगे (something they will think)
We have become conscious of our grades which would solely depend on our department teachers and hence attire pleasing to their eye is the best investment we can do. It was something new where faculty has to be pleased. Guys know that some opportunities in the form of Campuses(Jobs), MBA, MTech, MS, etc. are knocking at the doorsteps. What we need to have is the guts to grab the fruit called opportunity but the support or lift needed to reach to the fruit lies in the hands of teacher. Teacher are the sole source who can empty there mark basket to fill your Grade baskets in Labs. It was not a easy job as each individual is having own taste.
Some want attire and gestures to be crispy(light hearted) whereas others are Martinet's who won't even hesitate in making a 20yrs old guy stand on the bench or in throwing him out of the class.
Guys around there have one stuff when are we going to give our statements. Some do went wayward and had been waylaid by teachers. Some caught in class rooms some on corridors and some on roads while riding on a vehicle. Imagine what a shame you would face when a teacher makes you stand in the class and ask odd questions about your yesterday's attire.
Some guys prefer to play safe and wear sober so that they would be spared from the ignominy of being scolded in public and humiliation of receiving bad grades. But as usual life gives free hand to one and all and some took the other way and landed up in a boggy.
Case studies:::
Case I
I preferred the safe road but as the case happened in my class I can call it as a my case hoping the guy won't mind. It was a Networking class going on; when our CR Rakesh Pattnaik entered
the class with his goggles on and has probably done his hair cut years ago so it was somewhat a MS Dhoni look. Our very own Manoranjan sir pointed out immediately "What is this hairstyle all about" and asked him to come tomorrow with a hair cut. Next day there was no bush on his head.
Case II
One case experienced by myself I also want to put forth. It was a day in my Java tuition class. I went to the class being a bit gaudily dresses wearing something funky. My tuition mates gave a pleased look at me. I was what we call "Dil garden garden ho gaya".
Then Debashish sir came and looked into my eyes and said
"Kya ladki wadki pata li kya ?"
I was awestruck and said nothing. He again said "Tell me I won't report to house."
We all had a hearty laugh and thereafter I never attempted something of similar sort.
Cases are queered but still evident of the fact that again we were suppressed and remain unexpressed. Guys and ladies reading it do you still feel everything is in honky dory or something we have lost. Still we remained unexplored at the end of third year.
For guys and girls of CET...............
CET LIFE
The fog was thick,
Light was bleak.
Still we had to walk,
Still we had to caulk,
Filled the emptiness,
Found the coziness,
4 Years have passed,
Yet we feel only its a day passed.
Wait for the next and final part of attire. Hoping you people like it and do keep commenting.
